I love starting something new.

I get nervous, for sure, but it’s exciting to me. I am not scared of change, never have been. I’ve always been open to suggestions of how to do something new, and normally try them. I love to shake things up.

Over the summer, I started a new job, doing eMarketing for a local entertainment magazine. I LOVE it. I was definitely in the right place at the right time, and could not think of a better job for me. This summer has been crazy busy and somewhat stressful, but I wouldn’t have changed a thing. Even glad I took that break from blogging, because I feel passionate about it again.

We still have a couple of weeks before school starts, but I’m really looking forward to that beginning. The girls will go off to school every day and I will come home to my office and work. I should be able to finish all of my school work and work work before they get home and then I can pick them up and be home this year for homework, etc. And I’ll actually get to volunteer for V’s choir after school and help out a really awesome teacher that has been amazing to both of my girls.

Yep, I am definitely looking forward to this beginning. My new life, with a touch of the old one, where I was with my girls every day after school. That was the one thing I missed when working outside of the home.

I can’t decide if the next two weeks will drag or fly by, but I’m definitely looking forward to what the beginning of this school year is bringing.
